Library

What the Library is

One place for everything you keep — your own files, your teams' shared spaces, and the templates and prompts that shape what the AI produces.

The Library is where things live when they are not in a conversation. Your uploads, the documents and spreadsheets tasks produced, your teams’ shared material, the templates the assistant writes to and the prompts you reuse.

The spaces

Down the side of the Library are the spaces you can reach:

SpaceWho sees it
My FilesOnly you
A team libraryEveryone on that team
SharedThings other people shared with you specifically

A file lives in exactly one of these. That is the whole permission model — see Where things live for why it is worth choosing deliberately.

Project files are not in the Library. They live inside their project, because a project is its own boundary — see What a project is.

The three tabs

TabWhat it holds
FilesFolders, uploads, and everything tasks have produced — documents, sheets, decks, images
TemplatesDocuments and decks you have uploaded as a house format for the AI to follow
PromptsRequests you have written once and want to reuse

Templates and prompts are covered in Prompts and templates.

Things arrive here by themselves

You do not have to file the assistant’s output. A document, spreadsheet or deck made inside a task lands in the same space the task belongs to, and shows up in the Library with a link back to the task that produced it. Nothing is stored in a second, separate place.

What you can do here

  • Upload files, and drag them straight onto the page
  • Make folders, and move things between folders and between spaces
  • Open a document, spreadsheet, deck or canvas and keep working on it
  • Preview a file without downloading it, or download the original
  • Search, sort and filter by kind
  • Share a specific file with named people
  • Recover something you deleted, for thirty days

Each of those has its own page in this section.
